“Kuruom Vidyalaya”, the name of the school is derived from the village, Kuruon. It is co-ed from the level of grades primary to intermediate, as it was the greatest need in the village area. CBSE accredited Kuruom Vidyalaya committed to an excellence in providing quality education to students. With all modern facilities to study Science, Maths, Computer, Languages, Music etc. in addition to learn and experience various activities such as Sports, Horse Riding, Archery, Yoga etc. aims at overall development of students at Kuruom Vidyalaya. Giving a direction to the child’s future, we nurture our students with positive approach towards life that enables them to develop decision-making, shaping personality, focus mind and morally strong character.
Kuruom aims at the synthesis of spiritual value of the East and scientific spirit of the West. It encourages the development of balanced personality through its five-fold educational Programme, known as 'Panchmukhi Shiksha'. This programme, which evolved from experimentation, attempts a balance between five aspects of education: Physical, Practical, Aesthetic,Moral and Intellectual. The main thrust of all the activities of the Kuruom is the development of a complete personality. The institution firmly believes that the personality consists of interdependent components, each being equally important requiring equal attention. We expect the school to become a premier learning center for girls by emphasizing a holistic development of the students rather than limiting to curricular agenda.
